Gluten-free Carbonara

Carbonara done the right way without bad ingredients.

Ingredients
Directions
  • 500 grams Brown Rice spaghetti or spaghettini noodles, cooked according to package directions (don’t forget to salt the water)
  • 4 organic eggs (do not use eggs that are not organic)
  • 8 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, crushed, skin removed
  • 125 grams organic bacon, sliced
  • 1 to 1 ½ teaspoons of freshly cracked black pepper
  • pinch of salt
  • 100 grams, freshly grated parmesan cheese
  1. In a warm pan, add olive oil and garlic and sautee
  2. Add 125 grams of bacon, sautee on low fire
  3. In a bowl, whisk eggs, parmesan cheese and black pepper, add pinch of salt
  4. Add cooked spaghetti to pan with garlic and bacon, toss until noodles are coated
  5. Add noodles, bacon, oil and garlic to bowl with egg mixture, toss until noddles are well coated
  6. Serve immediately
